      Pros

      Good systems put in place for quoting and sales management. Training is always available. Encouraged to manage sales territory autonomously.

      Cons

      Unrealistic goals. Each region treated the same as far as quota and revenue achievement. (Idaho has less business than San Francisco). They lost a step with the Foundry puchase. Ethernet switches are not as powerful as competition (Extreme, Force10, Arista...etc.) Before Foundry purchase, sales were mostly through OEM. Brocade management didn't know how to manage sales going directly to VAR or customer.

      Good facilities, better PTO and layoffs are infrequent

      Middle heavy, no succession planning, zero non-engineering focus for career development

      Brocade has a number of good working people Good teamwork and people are very co operative. Freedom at what u r doing

      Cons

      incompetent salary base. Pays very less salary compared to other similar companies. no growth professionally too much work no salary hikes
