      Excellent place for BSc and MSc internships

      Pros

      CERN provides a very nice working environment. You might have the chance to work on interesting projects. Due to its nature, CERN is multicultural and bears this particularity in all its structures. Easy going life, mostly composed of self-imposed pressure. Usually there is lack of official and hard deadlines, but this can vary significantly depending on you supervisor.

      Cons

      Internships are not very good paid, given that you will be living in Geneva, Switzerland. Management sometimes fails short, due to the research nature of CERN. CS people might have trouble communicating with supervisors with physics background.

      Very good opportunity to kick start your career, academic environment, not so much pressure, clever people around.

      Cons

      In a fellowship position, you can't choose your project, you'll be assigned to one, which might be a lucky choice, but might be an unfortunate one as well.
