Cons
- Poor management or no management at all - Lack of leadership - Lack of feedback - Lack of monitoring - Although there are some very good/smart people who are worried about getting things delivered, a lot of them are just simply lazy and seems nobody cares about it - Lack of ambition and exigence - A lot of legacy applications with very old technologies which don't give any added value to the people maintaining them. This is very important to mention since most of the CERN contracts are of the type limited duration, so, after 1 or 2 years working at CERN you must start searching for a job... - Lack of software development - A lot of support/maintenance - High turnover - Difficult to get things done (a lot of dependencies on other people from other sections)
