Non profit oriented or non military research, very friendly and relaxed people, one of the best jobs to start your career.

Cons

(depends of the section that the worker belongs and the subject of the work) After some years the job can become a routine and can spoil the worker because of the small evolutionary carrer chances.

Lots of interesting work and very good and competent colleagues. Lots of non-work related activities and people to meet.

Cons

Lack of strategy and direction on lower levels (better than a university but a lots worse than industry). Very bad career prospects due to contract situation.
