      You're given ridiculous amounts of autonomy get on with delivering results. Transparency and honesty across the business Honestly work with some of the smartest people in the world Culture - high performing! Family feel! Inclusive (there are people from all over the world that have come to Australia to work for Canva) THE FOOD - ahhhh the food! 2 onsite chefs Craft bear The office in amazing

      As with any start up - there are lots of moving parts! Bu that's what I love.

      - Work with a lot of extremely talented and humble people. - Constant learning of useful engineering topics. - Freedom & flexibility. - Huge opportunities to work on what you like and propose ideas. - Perks. Everywhere. All the time. Breakfast, snacks, "michelin-star" style lunches, beers on tap, fully stocked bar, fun company events, team bonding dinners. - Great office, full of space and awesome furniture, located in the best neighbourhood in Sydney. - Management take special care on the people that's part of the company. You won't be a number, everyone's opinion is considered, and there's no verticality at all.

      Cons

      - You have to be self-conscious with all the food & beers, or you'll gain 5 kgs like me.

      Pros

      Canva is filled with incredibly smart and driven people. Ambitions are sky high, and so are the things you will learn. Everyone works smart and plays hard, but there is also excellent social cohesion and an aura of positivity and friendliness.

      Cons

      If you want an environment with hierarchy and people superior and inferior to you, then stay away. Everyone is special and trusted, and no one is special and trusted.
