Pros

This company offers great networking opportunities.

Cons

There's a company-wide culture of deception and dishonesty. They lie to both clients and employees with an ease that can be unsettling. There is very little work-life balance and management can be quite manipulative when you bring it up. You will be expected to work 10-12 hour days, with weekend work, and then refused any sort of pay raise for putting in the time. I am guessing that this is because they think if they are already working you to death, why pay you for it? There is zero accountability between process lines, so unless you work at the front end of the process, you can expect to be constantly fixing other people's mistakes while they leave early and question "why it's a big deal???".

We are sorry to hear about your experience. We work so hard to give to everyone on this global team, and even harder to create a culture of transparency and employee feedback so that we are always listening to our people. We wish you the very best in your continued career.

Pros

Infrastructure is good No other Pros I could see here.

Cons

Doesn't have good projects, only a handful of projects come with development role. People at the time of recruitment makes you n number of false promises like for tech stacks, JD, etc but once you land here nobody would be there to here about all those things you were told at the time of interview. Lot of micro management, office swipe in , swipe out, lunch time , break fast time, if you are talking to someone... In short not a healthy environment to work , for time you could think that you could manage these trivial things but in longer run these trivial things becomes vital to work properly. Now a days Rotational Shift can be synonymed to Capgemini. Most of the projects require rotational shift sort from that shift time changes 4-5 times in a month which makes your biological clock unable to understand when to sleep, eat etc. Hair fall, Gastric, body pain , headache, hypertension would become part of your daily syndrome soon if you have crossed 24. Somehow if you manage to come out from the hectic project manager will make sure you leave the company by putting you in "HR fear circle". People working on probation are expected to get heart stroke but not to say if they got some medical issues because of the inhumane work schedule. A new therapy to suck you completely they have come up with. At the time of probation they will scare you by threating to put you on PIP or of non confirmation of probation period. This might seem to you easy and trivial but don't get me wrong I also thought the same way now I am writing this review. There are many more and I don't have that much time to waste for zero level company.

Pros

You get to travel a lot and you can collect a lot of airline miles. That's pretty much it.

Cons

This company name should be changed to Crapgemini because this company is the crappiest company I have worked for. If you are on H1b visa my sincere advice is not to join this company. They messed up my H1b renewal application so bad that even after I was working in my field of study (bachelors and masters both in computer science) my renewal got rejected. Their rate of approval for h1b is the lowest among all the big consulting firms. They filed my h1b application under non specialty occupation. Their immigration staff is based out of India now. Forget about immigration laws and regulations they can hardly write in English. 9/10 h1b applications get RFE and 6/10 applications get rejected. Management don't care. Once your visa is rejected they don't care. I worked for this company for 7 years and they treated me like crap. No help whatsoever. Again if you are on h1b please never ever join CRAPGEMINI.
