Pros

Smart, motivated coworkers and lots of recognition/praise for a job well done. Intelligent and smart leadership, generally making good decisions. Great benefits (vacation, flex time, work from home - sometimes). Great facilities. Interesting work. Great training classes.

Cons

Too much work - many at the Manager + level work 55-65 hours a week. They say they support working from home, but typically only on Fridays. Too many meetings where phone calls/emails/IM could suffice. Too many meetings mean not enough time for work. Performance management process intense and cumbersome; too complex. Expect that once you get in, you'll be at that level for 3-5 years - hard to get promoted. Not as many options for promotion/advancement as you think unless you are Sr Mgr+ and are willing to leave your line of business.

Pros

Environment was supportive, fun, and encouraging. Training was ongoing and the leadership team was fabulous. You could share your opinions and there were frequent feedback sessions to determine what was going well and what wasn't.

Cons

Schedules were not traditional and required working rotations on weekends and nights.
