Pros

I liked some of the people i worked with. If you are a "politician" you will go far. It's high school

Cons

Where to start. They make you work long hours with skeleton crews and no support, the back office has NO IDEA what they're doing

Pros

Smart people and good intentions. Good work-life balance. Smart decisions about credit (though may change with recent strategic changes). Interesting analytical work (less line of sight to delivering intent). Good Investment in employee training.

Cons

Growth is really slow now unless you are the blue-eyed boy of management. Results not rewarded, 'creating vision' rewarded (even though it hasn't paid in most cases) much more. Culture very different in different parts of organization (Ex: card / bank / auto etc).

Pros

Work is fun, and I am lucky to be in a great team. Campus is great, benefits are good, and Plano is a great city. Depending on the team and the department, the culture and the senior leaders can be very open and understanding.

Cons

Too much outsourcing hurts morale. New employees get hired at $20-40k above midpoint, and many people joke that it's better to leave the company for a year and try to get hired back because of the raise. Depending on your department, promotion opportunities can be very limited and attrition can be as high as 100% per year.
