      1.Very helpful colleagues. 2.Good compensation . 3.flexible office hours (40 hours a week). 4.work from home culture. 5. The leading company in the networking industry. 6. Good innovations.

      Cons

      1. No feedback give to employees. 2. Location is not very good. 3. No rewards/bonuses. 4. Company is slowly getting down in terms of its new products and some products are being fetched back from the market which is incurring losses.

      Pros

      flexibility for remotely working is a true blessing in disguise. due to high cost of living, many move further east towards the likes of dublin and pleasanton among other areas to take advantage of the solid school systems and housing costs there. there's an on-site gym; not free, but not terribly expensive either with just above basic amenities. every group within cisco is like it's own small company under the big umbrella. for the most part, it can be nice, but when it comes to budget and headcount cuts, many business units have to make very difficult decisions, despite fairly confusing strategems from above (i.e. moving into and dominating consumer space, but leaving before a clear indication of losing %s, which affects many jobs)

      Cons

      strategy is seemingly too volatile year to year, not long enough to seriously gestate in the case of several business markets. recognition not too common if you're not in the hip pocket of managers and other prominent folks, but it's not like it's dramatically different anywhere else. just that for a company as large as cisco is, particularly with how deep pockets to hold its sizable cash reserve, it's fairly remarkable that cisco still is befallen to layoffs.
