      Salary compensation is good compared to other companies in the valley Cisco hires internally a lot. Once you get in, you're basically in If you're willing to learn and push your career, you will definitely learn a lot

      Fast paced and high pressure. If you can't stand the heat, get out the kitchen Probably not the best environment for people with families

      Super smart people, but join this company at the level you plan to remain in for a while- slow promotions

      Pretty flexible about working from home (they own Webex) People are smart and overall employees are fun to work with Meetings are kept to a tolerable minimum

      Cons

      Slow to promote or increase salary so you are forced to leave the company if you really want an increases in money and responsibilities. Like most large corporations, they do not have a mechanism that employees trust to provide feedback about Sr. Managers that will be taken seriously.
