Pros

challenging work, get to interact with international teams, good benefits, many opportunities to move around and try new things, managers happy to work with you on career development if you start the conversation, smart people - I'm always learning something new, bleeding edge technology, good use of technology as standard tools at work.

Cons

long hours, hard to have work-life balance unless YOU make it a priority and set boundaries. working with international teams is interesting and fun, but sometimes taking conference calls at 10pm is not. salary could be better - have heard that internal equity within teams can be an issue.

Pros

Flexibility - management very open to remote workers; can take time off when needed People - I am blessed to work with a very strong team, both in the immediate group as well as the extended team; these folks are extremely dedicated

Cons

Career advancement - little focus on hiring internal employees for open jobs; starting to get better Benefits - no big difference from other companies of this size To make game-changing decisions, you have to go through too many layers of management

Pros

Good benefits (though those will diminish with each downturn)

Cons

Inability to innovate. Teams spread all over the place; takes twice as long to get stuff done because you have to ping pong protos/equipment/information. Lack of recognition or promotion opportunities. Lack of top level product leadership, lack of discipline (product roadmaps change with the wind). Wasted resources on projects that are there for political reasons, but end up failing as expected.
