If you are an engineer in the networking field, there is no better place to grow. You will gain an immense amount of knowledge in a very short time. When you work for Cisco, you are at the center of where everything happens in networking technology.
Cons
Cisco is a very large and fast moving machine. You can certainly get lost in the mix or overlooked. It can be hard to gain promotion unless you are willing to sacrifice a lot of your personal time.
