Cisco is a very well organized company. It leads the world towards new kind of networking by providing many smart solutions. It looks towards entering new markets and will always be taking very effective and intelligent decisions. The technologies that are being developed and worked on are very advanced. It will be definitely very interesting to know that a lot is going on in the networking field. The work and life balance is very good and heard the same from many colleagues with different ages of experience.

Cons

The compensation is not in par with other networking companies although it has additional benefits. There is very little scope for work for new college hires (mostly bug fixes), which is mostly the same for many product based companies. Although an engineer gets to see and learn a lot, he has to wait for a very long time to be one of the contributors for the field.
