Pros

Good benefits - lots of meaningful work, very high quality engineers.

Cons

Becoming too large and high overhead - brings some of the usual slowness and some bonehead policies. Rating system is really negative with forced placement of people into "bottom 5%" for example (the old discredited GE system).

Pros

Cisco is still a big name with solid technology, 20 days of vacation per year, a lot of onsite services.

Cons

way too political, management forces teams to change every minor details like which day we start and end the sprint, painful tools to support process.
