Pros

Cisco umbrella had a good culture and work life balance but not now. All the pros getting destroyed

Cons

- leadership don’t trust any engineer. - leadership is very immature with taking decisions but definitely getting the results with fighting and harrasing the employees. - No new learning new managment is destroying cisco culture - you can not take sick leave and PTO, in short there is no such emergency greater then this management

Pros

Good work life balance. You get salary on time.

Cons

There are several cons. Where should I start !! Don't go with the "Best place to work" - tag. 1. Project is not that good. Most of them using legacy technology. Lot of unnecessary process to do a simple job. Do the process related jobs, they also use legacy tools. 2. There are lot of people to do the same kind job . So no good practices are being followed. Different people followed different practices. 3. Build process takes 6-7 hrs to complete and with manual trigger. So you can think how much precious development time is being lost. 4. Not much of innovation happens here . So learning new thing as per market standard - you can forget about this. 5. Everything depends on your manager. Even the company don't provide relocation benefit if you are moving to new state for the job. Everything has to be pre approved. So please read your offer letter carefully. Where in most of the company its is part of company policy, here it depends on your manager and BU. 6. Managers are not supportive at all. Even when the company has no strict work from office policy, the manager forces you to come to office. So dont know whats going on here. In the orientation they say - We dont have any rules, but in reality its something else. 7. There is no growth opportunity. 8. Think twice before joining this company. Its better to work in small company rather than working here.

Pros

SEs are given access to equipment to train on

Cons

This will company gave $25 million to be BLM And the same year laid off hundreds of employees. They set aside days to give homage to GLBT but fire people who speak up in disagreement because in an all hands meeting employees are told they are racist because of the color of their skin.
