      Sexist jerks who have no clue what they are doing!!

      Pros

      Work from home, good benefits RSU golden handcuffs. Has cutting edge products. Minimal travel required. However the cons far outweigh the pros.

      Cons

      Very poorly managed & cut-throat competition. Duplicate efforts across departments. Extremely territorial. Very sexist "good ole boy" ClubsI worked in a team they devalued women & targeted all the senior level folks in a recent LR. Double standard in place - if you at married man with kids but lousy at your job then Cisco will keep you. If you a female then you will be treated like dirt.

      Sexism is absolutely not tolerated and as a current employee we ask you to speak to HR about your concerns. As a woman myself I have never once felt devalued at Cisco, so please try not to assume that your situation is the norm. Again, our HR staff is here for you and we want to help!

      Easy pace

      Pros

      Cisco has an easy pace of work. Good work life balance. Good facilities: gym, medical center, child care, etc. Generally a nice set of people.

      Cons

      Cisco has a relationship-focused culture. Very political in spite of the visible leadership changes at the top. Lots of people are just coasting. Big words but not much follow through.
