Pros

Only that this org'[NDS] was acquired by Cisco *

Cons

No scope to grow unless you are near and dear one to the VP/Director They don't know where they are headed, always work in the fear when big brother will cut the cord Senior management[former NDS] always fakes, keeps employees in dark and they reap the benefits from Cisco [ Always eye on the CISCO shares ]

Pros

Market leader, branding, office facility

Cons

Micro management and culture of fear Many people left after in 6 months, 1 or 2 years max of service Fear, uncertainty and doubt Call center mindset Management is absolutely awful. A kind of toxic environment. Probably 5 years ago it was a good place to work. But these days you should skip it - or at least know what you are walking into. Fear and intimidation are the only tactics left. Random acts of management in a totalitarian style combined with ignorance and carelessness may be bordering on psychological torture with some sense of virtue At least 30% turnover Big culture gap with the other Cisco team Low salary for the industry (+/- £50K OTE)

Pros

WFH provide some flexibility (to make up for very heavy workload)

Cons

Cisco Sr. Leadership continued to make really bad hiring, strategic, and tactical decisions as related to Cloud. It obviously lost the race on SDN, Cloud to Amazon and Microsoft. Its strategy of laying off people annually to cut cost is obvious the wrong strategy. It really kills the morale within the company, divides the people (millennial vs 40+'s.) Also it is a complete mess of bureaucracy among high and middle-management and a lack of advancement opportunities are stifling innovation.
