Pros

Large organization that supports career mobility. Increasing focus on consolidation and eliminating redundant technology, which means there are many new projects using the latest technologies.

Cons

Communication of strategy is ineffective, so teams within the same functional groups don't even know what each other are doing. No common culture. Compensation is not competitive with peer group, especially for those who have been with the firm since the start of the depression.

Pros

There are some wonderful, dedicated people at Citi to work with. If you appreciate working in an environment where there is a LOT of change, this could be the place for you. There isn't time for complacency, which I found highly appealing. This also gives you an opportunity for a great deal of learning.

Cons

Sometimes you feel as though you are spinning your wheels due to the constant change. Some folks are not cut out to work in this environment; if not...this isn't the place for you.
