Pros

You start loving your older jobs and appreciate your life in the future.

Cons

Nothing except endless torment, I left Citibank Singapore on 18th March and till today paying the penalties of joining this horrible organization. The HR is the worst here and I think after working in Citi no company should hire citi HR. They were sloppy and non interested from day 0, 1. I never had my id photo lost by and HR and blatantly told lie to my face that I did not provide them one. 2. The last days I was leaving Singapore for good so I gave them a form to authorize IRAS payment, which these geniuses lost. At one point I got an order and my entry to Singapore was banned because of HR. 3. Credit cards were closed after I left and Citi bank was silently charging my account like an online scam. 4. Now let's come to the job part, Every co-worker I met was with zero energy and asking me from day one why I left a job of hedge fund and joined here. While leaving I realized how relevant that question was. The technology systems were utter crap, people sitting on a third-grade code with much pride for 10 years (they are unemployable anywhere outside). Hired some jockers for tech leads who have no idea of technology

Pros

Nice work environment Central location Good to put on CV

Cons

Long working hours beyond your contracted hours. You will be expected to stay late every night with no additional pay. There are some there work 11-12 hour days. If you do leave on time you'll be expected to give a reason and made to feel bad about it by management. Lack of communication between teams, management, co workers makes working difficult day to day. Lack of atmosphere, most workers look like zombies and talk like them too, no craic. Any wonder when they work so many hours they aren't getting paid for.
