Pros

Citi is a globally recognized Tier 1 bank. Having it on your resume signals exposure to complex regulatory environments, large-scale operations, and high compliance standards—this carries weight with firms like Morgan Stanley, TD, ICBC, etc.

Cons

One challenge was that the work could be highly process-driven, which is why I’m now looking for a role where I can apply more analytical thinking and take on greater ownership in risk assessment.
