      Pros

      Relatively new to banking, but have been here nearly 3 years. Overall great experience. If you are motivated and willing to step up, you will get noticed and rewarded. If you're looking to fly below the radar, this probably is not the place because people form opinions rather quickly and you can get stuck. But if you're willing to get out of your comfort zone and try new challenges, you will really stretch yourself, learn a ton, and be well compensated.

      Cons

      Not really a negative, but Citi is so large you are responsible for your career. You need to network and form relationships to move your career forward - no one will do it for you.

We also have formalized development programs for rising leaders at the firm.       Good Salary, location Pune, bonus component needs to increase.

      Onshore managers not good, they think Indians are low cost and can say anything to them.

      Functions are specialized, with many layers.

      My experience with the company was a negative one. Company culture was very political and vicious. You don't get rewarded for doing work, rather for playing politics and sucking up to your boss. The directors basically treat everyone else like peons, and don't care about firing employees, regardless of whether or not the job gets done. I don't recommend joining unless you want to be laid off without good cause.
