Cons
Hard to move up. No bonus, pay rise, OT. Have to work bank holidays Canteen is a bit expensive Tea and coffee is too expensive Don't look after current staff ---they pay external staff more for the same role. I was in Citi for 8 years in various different roles. When I was at C09 level I was on 39k but I knew someone on 42k at the same level who's team was less busy. Citi do not promote based on how well you work in a job if you want a promotion you have to apply for a different job internally. The only way to get more money is if you have an offer from another company. Females seem to get promoted more than males. On the 1st floor there was about 10 woman AVP and only 2 Men AVP. Managers have been known to give bad personal reviews to stop people moving from teams internally
