Pros

* Big organization; the more people you know, the easier it gets to move around and get things done * Access for support * Despite some less-than-capable senior managers, overall still has bunch of competent people trying to do their best

Cons

* Terrible deferred comp * In a period of flux so promotions are nearly impossible in some groups * Unnecessary politics between different sectors

Pros

Opportunity to make a lot of money if you work long long hours. Flexibility of creating your own schedule. Opportunity to meet clients both inside and outside of the office.

Cons

You work six to seven days a week working ten to twelve hour days. Taking time off in the beginning of your career is detrimental to building a successful business.
