Pros

Big company with a number of internal opportunity; also a company able to trade in large sizes and therefore with the possibility to trade any type of instrument. Mostly friendly attitude and balanced life/work environment.

Cons

A company currently in search of directions, and unclear who is steering it (whether the US government or the CEO). A lot of red tapes and inefficient comunication between the business and the infinitely many IT (sub)systems.

Pros

The best of working for Citibank, is the experience one can gain from such an aggresive sales environment. If banking and sales is something you want to do as a career, then working as a senior teller can give you both the choice between going into operations management or move on as a personal banker.

Cons

If you are someone that has a hard time adjusting to change, then the current changes going on Citibank might stress you out a bit.
