Pros

Good strong company, known worldwide for its leadership in the financial industry. Great technical opportunities, as long as you are willing to work extremely hard. Citi is on it’s way to being a global leader with all aspects of IT and I am proud to be a part of that.

Cons

IF you are not working harder than everyone else, your job is in jeopardy! Citi is always cutting costs and laying people off, while executives are getting huge bonuses and salaries! Every single year, they are cutting benefits for the worse, to save more money.

Pros

Not really challenged - if you want a run of the mill cruisy environment where mediocrity and sycophancy are tacitly encouraged then this place is for you.

Cons

Culture of suspicion, tall poppy syndrome, perpetuation of mediocrity

Pros

They offer great benefits and time off. Five to six weeks for most everyone was great!

Cons

Well, you must be a favorite to get promoted. And these days you seem to need to be the right color to be a favorite. Not to say other weren't promoted, but most of the folks who move up after I left were all part of the same group.
