Pros

Good brand name for someone looking to build a resume. The program is similar to others at other large investment banks. Training was very good and amid the most comprehensive on the street. I like the people I work with but that's one very small sample of the company.

Cons

LARGE, downsizing is ongoing so morale is not great. I am not really affected by the "largeness" since I am pretty much lowest on the totem pole and don't have to make requests to higher management, etc. but I can see my superiors are frustrated. It sometimes takes a long time for things to get done.

Pros

book of clients, good coworkers, salary + commission

Cons

Management here tries to make things better but this group is constantly getting the short end of the stick from upper management. Too much service work and too little time to actually do your job and make money.

Pros

Fun and Friendly coworkers who are willing to help you and treat you as family. Open opportunities for advancement provided your willing to work hard and show the numbers. Exceptional Customer service is a huge priority. Banking hours wasn’t too bad at all, had weekends off which was great.

Cons

Micromanagement, you have your mangers constantly monitoring you which can be very distracting and annoying. The company will make you pay back any unearned PTO you use after you separate from the company. Just to sound this warning to others cos I learned the hard way, your health and other benefits terminate immediately upon separating from the company. Matter of fact my medical insurance was canceled retroactively so I ended up having to pay a bill the insurance had already paid after I left
