Pros

If you just need to get in quickly to gain some experience to put on your resume

Cons

Lack of respect and fairness throughout the company. Overall culture of the company is terrible. Pay in alot of areas are below market value. Upper and middle management are poor decision makers, they work off of a Good old boy system, employee are treated like cattle instead of human beings. They push directives that are not profitable just to show an initial profit and take a loss on the back end. Some positions which are considered as a promotion but no pay increase. No matter the position if promoted we only give you 10-15% more than current salary. Do not care about obtaining further education this will not change pay.

Pros

Lots of vacation time--I almost feel guilty for having some much time off. The company is strong and stable. The company provides fitness facilities and nice cafeteria. Some people go to exercises and have a shower during lunch break. Most people go to lunch at company's cafeteria and it is easy to socialize with coworkers. The foods are good and prices are very reasonable.

Cons

It is very hard to get things done. Lots of unnecessary and absurd procedures to follow. Some people only care about following company's procedures or policies and keep themselves out of trouble. It is so frustrating if you want to get something done.

Pros

Has been very good for my personal growth as well as helping me reach goals I did not think possible professionally and financially. They pay very well with a generous bonus program. Benefits are top notch.

Cons

Duplication of efforts across several areas within the businesses and technology. Too many offices of 25 or less folks scattered across the country. They have never completed many of the acquisitions they have made over the years. This lead to many little "kingdoms" running on thier own with the title of "Citigroup" in name only. I encounter different groups that were acquired years ago, but still consider Citigroup to be "them". Conversely, there are several of the old school corporate types that still refer to the company as "The Bank" or "Citicorp". News flash, this company is no longer just a bank nor is it Citicorp.
