Pros

Some of the folks are nice and the work can be interesting, at times.

Cons

Citi is a bank that is unsure what it wants to be. Corporate politics are horrible and ethics is a giant, giant issue. There is much chaos these days and I would think twice about joining Citi in the current environment. It’s just a mess (never mind terrible, outdated technology). Employee morale could not be worse - be forewarned.

Toxic work environment after reorganization

Pros

Was once a great company to work for.

Cons

Reorg was messy and post reorg the company is in a huge mess, pple are not motivated, they've cut employees indiscriminately such that those remaining suffer and and work flows do not make any sense because. Keep getting notices abt improving company and cutting costs but our biggest cost is our CEO who is still permitted to run the company after several costly oversights - usd890mio losses via Revlon loans and fat finger incident which resulted in fines of gbp67mio both occured in 2022 under her watch. And she gets massive bonuses in exchange while her employees suffer and clients too eventually too.
