Horrible culture, the worst management

Pros

None, salaries seem good at the beginning but it's not worth it.

Cons

Exploitative, stagnant, managers are managers because they have been in the company for many years, not because they are competent. Horrible culture where harassment and abuse are tolerated and even rewarded. The most mediocre tend to survive and perpetuate the problem. Very high turnover rate.

Pros

Chance for progression at times

Cons

Forced to work long hours (with no overtime pay) Asked to provide reasons why you cant work overtime if you couldn't work late any nights (after contracted hours) Stressful environment Lack of help from HR Bullying Treated like a number, rather than a person After I had raised an internal issue in regards to a Manager providing personal information to others (that the Manager should not have been sharing), including making it public who the Manager wanted to fire and salaries of staff members, I was given a guarantee by HR that they would investigate and get back to me. That Manager is still at Citi and has actually been given more responsibility. HR never responded to me, despite my many attempts to reach out to them in regards to the update I was promised. Certain Managers are rude to the point of bullying and many people are off on stress leave including Managers. My personal opinion is that this is the worst company to work for and I would avoid at all costs.
