Pros

Money is ok and you have healthcare.

Cons

Long hours. Constant pointless calls Nobody achieves anything of value or change. Risk systems are insane. You have to live, breathe and work as your manager likes to. No autonomy.

Pros

Salary is good. That is all.

Cons

-They don’t provide you with the tools to do the job ie laptop. You buy your own. -Working 11 hr shifts for the last 3 months, 7 days a week and told (not asked) to opt out of the working hours directive. - Team spilt between different time zones so expect 10pm meetings. - Training is below standard with trainers flying through screens and not explaining. - No video calls so if you are new don’t expect to know what your team look like.

Pros

Easy to get promoted, just find a new job (although it may take 20 interviews if you dont have a back), apply, you get a higher rank and more money. Everyone at Citi is a VP, it is not comparable with other companies. Majority of VPs provide very low-quality work

Cons

Everything is bad, from IT, through HR to line managers..You deal with constant pressure (and chaos), unfriendly and competitive (not team-players) colleagues and micromanaging LMs. This is the only bank that requires employees to come 3days/week during pandemic to the office, my manager has no mercy to allow to come to the office after 9am ("our MD wants to see us working") despite not facing clients, and HR does not care if you have any issues (they reply after 10-20 days). People who stay here for years have never worked at any other bank and do not appreciate creative ideas. My advice is - stay away from this bank. I am trying to get out, hopefully soon...
