Pros

Pretty much none. If you like seeing good people treated like dirt for terrible pay, working on holidays, sexual harassment...work here. Bonus? Only if you do "favors".

Cons

Al blanco who is the COO is one of the worst people. Abusing his employees and harassing them is a daily Occurance. Good luck if you're a woman here. 40% of the staff has left in one year alone. Have kids? Say goodbye to them. Management are either sociopaths or weaklings.

Pros

Interacted well with other analysts who started at the same time as me. Trainers were helpful during the training period.

Cons

I was among a group of anti-money laundering analysts working at Citigroup through a temp agency. We were told that the job was temp-to-permanent, and that as soon as we passed a quality check we would be hired as official Citi employees. Instead, toward the end of the assignment date, all were dismissed (and informed not by our superiors at Citi, but by temp agency employees) without warning or notice, because the positions were being eliminated. What’s worse, I checked online the following day and the temp agency has posted more identical job listings for a new group of analysts. Seems like the positions were not eliminated after all. No vacation time, no benefits, not treated well.

Pros

Shuttle bus is provided - that's probably the main good thing

Cons

1) Cost cutting everywhere, resulting in incompetent and badly trained staff mainly from HR (made up of shared services team in Mumbai, India and Manila, Philippines - you can imagine the kind of quality you get from these places). 2) Horribly low bonus (it's so low that you have to laugh, yet Citi is shameless enough to continue with this practice for so long - it's measured in weeks, not months). Annual salary increment is less than SG's inflation rate of 5%. 3) Unfair HR practices - HR is never there to conduct open, fair and transparent processes for the benefit of the staff. 4) Management (SVP and beyond - many are incompetent, and just good at being hypocrites) 5) Low morale now given the constant changes and restructuring 6) Too many Indians in Citi and their performance make people feel that they are there by way of referral and not by merit
