Pros

Mostly great people, nice to work with professionals

Cons

There is just way to much work. The work is constrained by so many processes there’s no room to use any outside experience or talent to get things done. So somehow it’s stressful because of the volume of work and governance yet boring because it’s just delivery without creativity.

Pros

High salary package when you join, Health Insurance, and 30 annual leaves ( if approved by the manager )

Cons

Worst work culture with such big brand name, everything is urgent here so horrible working hours. You can be called any time any day to fix the issue ( when your application is not even in prod ), Service-based culture, few managers are relatively good but most of them are arrogant with no sense of how to talk to others. Citi should conduct some pressure dealing training and soft skill training for such representatives of your management.

Pros

I got to learn a lot related to Mainframe Infrastructure and a really good salary

Cons

I have had different jobs but never this experience. I had to quit my job because my mental health was gone. I suffered from harassment from my co workers and managers in citi In a lapse of 10 months we lost at least 5-6 coworkers due to the environment inequality, and had 3 different managers for the position. When I expressed my concern of harassment to my VP he forced me to NOT say anything to HR because it could cause trouble for our new Mainframe department and I could even lose my job. So if I didn’t want to lose my job I have to stay silent When I expressed my concerns to HR they asked for prove when it was already provided, which made me think they do not care since it took at least two weeks to get an answer from management. Citi does not care for your mental health, they do not care of your social life. When entering to citi remember you won’t have a social life, you will be asked to do over work without even a thank you. There is no work/life balance
