Pros

Citi is a good place to work. Very international and friendly focusing on diversity. It depends on a department but the management mostly is open minded and don't act as a manager. Mostly like a good friend who you can talk to any time and the doors are always opened. They place great emphasis on the opinions of the employees.

Cons

There are huge differences in wages between departments. People easily can stuck in the same position for long years and they don't get enough support to move forward. It is very difficult to get pay raise for good work. You can raise your wage only if you move to a different role in higher grade.

Cons

very in-cooperative IT teams. Most quant people in the firm are poor in code quality. High level managers are not supportive for the needs of mid managers.
