Pros

Vacation is good, 17 days a year for new analysts. Discounts standard like all the other companies, free accounts etc.

Cons

Risk doesn't have a linear progression, so seeing where you can be in the future can be difficult to gauge.

Pros

I have worked with Citi for 13 years and it has some really great benefits; I have been in several departments, and have only been able to obtain positions in these departments through word of mouth; when there is opportunity, you have to make the move, pay is similar to most companies.

Cons

the only positions obtained were through word of mouth, I have yet to see anything productive come out of the HR department.

Pros

Great benefits, leadership is focused on developing those below them, culture is generally positive.

Cons

Salary and raises are low, you have to be an outside hire to make the median point in the pay bracket. Quality of work-life depends greatly on the department, with the business operations side in the worse end of the spectrum.
