If you have parenting responsibility, or are a woman, expect to be discriminated... you will be on the front line when it comes to make employee redundant. But you will be at the end of the queue for promotion
Managers at Citi are not trained to treat fairly parents of young children who needs to leave early or need to work from home. Empathy from managers is very very poor or inexistant. Diversity is only a facade. I saw many women being made redundant in 2024. And many more may leave Citi in the near future.
Also very difficult to communicate with HR. After many years there, I resigned recently...
