Great people, good culture but professionally unfulfilling due to poor leadership and risk averse culture

Pros

Work with some of the best people I've ever worked with. No managers with ego trips or agendas. Genuinely, everyone wants to do the best for the company and its social purpose. And the Co-operative business model genuinely does make a difference at times. Good engineering and technology standards, with good intentions.

Cons

Very traditional leadership styles at the top of the business. Very few decisions are delegated below the Director level. Very risk-averse culture. Reliance on outside big consultancy for meaningful strategic work.
