? can't honestly see any at the moment, hopefully it will go back the place it once was. Staff discount

Cons

Since the financial difficulties hours have been cut leaving it impossible to function, trying to be in 3 places at once, reliable,good long serving staff are leaving left right and centre. I just can't see what the future holds.

sometimes good employee discounts, apart from management most employees are quite pleasent

Cons

next to zero career progression, no bonus scheme, newly recruited team managers who are complete jobsworths and ego driven. no flexitime, v hard to book holidays as management will try everything to make it difficult to book holidays.

Pros

The benefits package is really generous and the new head office (Angel Square) is a great building to work in. There teams are all very friendly to work with and there are opportunities to get involved with many areas of the group. The new exec structure seem to be well intentioned and the business needs to get behind them and support them now. It has a strong moral core (but that can also be a hinderance)

Cons

While there are some great people there, people tend to get ahead based on who they know rather than what they can do. There's generally a restructure every 2 years which is unsettling. There are also an awful lot of people who are coasting and that can be frustrating. The Co-op old guard don't seem to realise that while it has morals and ethics it's a business that needs to make money and can be very obstructive.
