Pros

A truly dedicated core of staff, who see the Co-op as so much more than a job, people will go above and beyond for the group, the difference between this and a corporate job is clear. ownership of the group

Cons

In my opinion, the Co-op feels like it straddles the line between public and private sector, great benefits for it's staff but so protective of them it can be difficult to deal with low performance

Working in a bakery provides an independent environment which is challenging but you can set yourself targets and motivate yourself to meet them.

Cons

You cannot depends on other employees as there is poor communication in the workplace and this would lead to numerous problems that were never addressed.
