Pros

Meeting families, helping take the stress away a little, Great team colleagues who care about the loved ones in our care. A great, worthwhile job.

Cons

All about the £££ Do not care about complaints Unreasonable requests - we are told not to book funerals between 11-2 and offer 9am, 10am, 3-4:30pm so they can squeeze 3 funerals in a day. Families should be able to choose the day and time not be lied and dictated to. Bullying mentality. Impossible work loads. So desperate for staff they will employ anyone who can breathe whether suitable for the role or not. No managerial support, Blame culture. Spend £1000’s advertising supporting MH issues, diversity, inclusion and all a smoke screen. No pay rises/bonuses Minimal chance of promotion. Management a joke - don’t answer phone calls or emails
