Benefits. Looks good on CV. Prospects for international assignments

Cons

Favouritism at its best. Good professionals leave after small tenures, awful ones stay forever. Attitude issues from management. HR is a joke despite big talks. Awful place to be if you have nobody to support you from the senior management team. Your future and development is mostly based on luck-not capabilities

Pros

Wages are good, some perks like healthcare. The staff and people you work with daily will make the job manageable for you. Large company so other perks such as cycle to work scheme etc.

Cons

Like two companies under one roof (commercial vs supply) with most of the perks and benefits going to only half of the employees, huge issues with communication both within and between departments, 'shut up and do what you're told' attitude from senior management, self-development and training support non-existent for entire departments. And worst of all is that they are stuck in a set mentality that is seriously holding some areas back from embracing new ideas/solutions thus halting meaningful progress, 'its always been like this, nothing will ever change' is said with alarming frequency amongst some staff.

Company name looks good on CV when applying to other companies!

Cons

Can be a very difficult company to work for (Depending on department & Manager). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know. Little loyalty to long term employees.
