      Pros

      If projects are available you can get experience with reputable clients. However, you have very little say on the projects you get onto

      Cons

      Extremely poor management of grads. Management bring in more graduates at a time when graduates have been on bench for a year! Lack of communication between length of 'graduate scheme'. Very little projects on offer, and we wonder why the pay for current graduates coming is lower than 1.5 years ago! Place you wherever there's a project without taking in the needs/aspirations of employees.

      Pros

      It can offer opportunities to work on interesting projects and to learn, if you're lucky. Work life balance can be good, depending on the specific project or location you're assigned to.

      Cons

      Little consideration for the person, or his/her professional goals, as the main priority is billability. Many projects are badly organized with difficult communication within the team, sometimes due to cultural differences and somebody's tendency to impose his/her way of working on you. Probably not the best place if your main field is data science. Pay is not good, and they do all they can to keep it low. Appraisal is largely affected by the success of the projects you've participated in, and it is far from being objective.

      Pros

      Can work for all kind of enterprises - large, small and medium. Lot of customers (even though Cognizant is trying to keep up with the momentum of other Consulting Companies). Can work at a preferred location based on the priorities of the engagement and your manager. Relocation is easy with Cognizant. Some of the people from management are good and professional.

      Cons

      Poor HR policies. Mediocre Insurance Choices. High Employee Contribution. Internal Politics / Poor Team Camaraderie No values for employees under conflicting situations between the customer and the team. No transparency in any dealings (internal/external). Highly Indianized Organization. Pay is below the industry standards. Lots of politics.
