Pros

Great benefits. Lots of opportunities for growth and move up. They're very flexible to meet our needs and arrange accommodations. There's definitely future in this company. They pretend they care for us, some supervisors actually care for us, some don't care at all.

Cons

They took away our bonuses, only the rich bosses get it. They took away sick time/PTO. We used to have PTO , vacations, and sick time, now we only have Vacations and PTO. We have to constantly ask/push for raises/ promotions and always have to move to different programs in order to make more money. New supervisors/ managers are very incompetent and never care to learn the product nor the people, they rely on leads to do all their work. Lots of drama and problematic people that's VERY hard to work with in every program, management won't take care of them to keep peace.

Pros

Great benefits, focus on people development, organizational mobility.

Cons

While management would like to think that there is a strategy (SFP), it is certainly not the case at this point in time. Decision making at the top seems to be very short sighted, without accounting for the industry landscape and where the organization needs to be in 6-12 months from now to effectively tackle future business. While the industry is starting to see signs of recovery, the organization is being asked to do more with less. Which at the surface, seems fair, being that the business is going through challenging times. That said, these challenges come from bad decision making over the last few years by new leaders with no knowledge of the legacy businesses. Post Covid - there seems to be a disconnect between upper management's expectations (based on pre-covid environment) and the reality of today. Employees find themselves doing more to keep projects afloat, without the resources to properly support all aspects of their jobs. Additionally, the levels of bureaucracy established under the new UTC regimes have made decision making extremely challenging for mid-level managers.

Pros

Good 401K match and company additional contribution to retirement account

Cons

Company is not back filling positions as people leave and there is way too much work. Management expects employees to work at least 50+ hours every week. Way too many meetings, especially over the lunch hour. No respect for off hours or work life balance. This used to be a great company to work for, but since the acquisition, the only thing that seems to be important is the company's bottom line.
