Pros

First, each location is different. Second, overall, a nice group of individuals. There were some improvements, but like most BPO's they have to answer to the end client (some of whom are ALEC) and their stockholders. It's nice for a first job, but let's face it, call centers are pretty similar. There were problems with employees' pay checks such as PTO, among other issues.

Cons

It would have been nice if management had met with its employees, more, but again, it's difficult to do this at some call centers. Would like to have seen this company go places, but in this economy, it's anybody's guess. Would recommend this to someone just getting out of high school and still living at home with Mom and Dad, because an Agent's hourly (especially after taxes) just can't keep up with the cost of living. (And hopefully Mom and Dad are doing better financially.) Many good people have come and gone through these doors. Again, it's a good starter job.

Pros

There are a lot of different contracts for some big names. Where you can get experience from. Stands good on your CV. Would advise to switch inside the company to different contracts. On Friday there are free buns and fruit.

Cons

There's a lack of good training, you're actually just thrown to the wolves and have to figure out yourself how to do the job. Nobody really knows inside the company who's doing what. Not the best infrastructure, old buildings, dirty toilets. You can't always take holidays when you want to, I couldn't take any Holiday in the summer even though it was asked 1,5 month in advance. To many rules you have to follow and depending on the manager you have they can be followed very strictly. If you work here you won't save a lot of money, it basically just enough to survive, you won't be using your hard earned money for things you like.
