      - Work culture is fun and fast paced - Constant opportunities for teaching and learning - Great leadership and mentorship - Amazing clients and projects - Social events such as demos, weekly social, quarterly off-site events, lunch & learns, and more

      Great place to work

      Pros

      - They have some really impressive (confidential) clients - Great product and development practices! - Very smart and kind group of people - HR is very responsive to feedback - Now that we've truly settled into the new space, the office is pretty nice - 9-5 hours (I guess this is only worth pointing out if you're used to 9-6)

      Cons

      - I think we need to work on being more adept at some of our development practices, such as TDD - While I've never had to work overtime so far personally, I would like to see sustainable work hours be more of a core value at the company. I've noticed that we seem to be kind of "okay" with people working overtime hours to get their work done, or occasionally scheduling meetings outside of 9-5 that you don't TECHNICALLY need to go to, but that you might feel weird not attending. I think if we don't explicitly discourage overtime I could very easily see things getting to a bad place.

      Pros

      - The people. I have been working in consultancy services for about 5 years and have never worked with a team as smart, humble, and kind. Everyone has a desire to help one another, and learn from one another. - Sr management team offers great mentorship to the whole company - Dedication to the mission and core values. Everyone lives and breathes the core values of this company every single day. - Voices are actually heard. Mgmt team does an amazing job of listening (conducting regular satisfaction surveys and making improvements and adjustments usually in the same week). - Company disconnects every quarter for a full day off-site - usually filled with team activities, friendly competition, and are always something to look forward to! - The client list is incredibly impressive and almost unbelievable when you think about how long we have been in business for. - Opportunity to learn something new every day, regardless of the area or department you are in. - Office location couldn't be better. Lunch options, bar options, subway line etc.

      Cons

      - Office coffee could be better - Snacks are improving but could still be better - The company is growing so fast that we have a meeting room problem! - Due to the very open concept, there is a lot of collaboration that happens anywhere and everywhere - this does make it tough to focus sometimes.

They are the heartbeat of Connected, and if the entire team feels the way you do, it’s testament that we're on the right track. I know that the meeting rooms have become an issue and we’re doing our best to address this. We’re growing so fast that we’re definitely starting to feel some growing pains! You’ve probably noticed that we rearranged our space to create more collaboration areas, and a silent work area. This will hopefully alleviate part of the problem.
