Pros

If you put in the effort, you will be able to get a good amount of experience from this place. Most departments tend to have tons of OT available. Most decisions, with very few exceptions, are left to the discretion of the overseeing manager so if you’re happy with the manager, then you’ll be fairly happy.

Cons

Management is heavy, too much upper management Management is not very communicative, lack of direction, any motivation, etc. Management usually turns over every 4-6 years There are usually a good amount of questionable hires and usually have relationships with the hiring manager Very limited on pay in industry, we used to be on the higher end but now have drifted far below the average. Culture is dependent on department but corporate culture is severely lacking Bonuses and other pluses (like holiday bonuses) pretty much don’t exist unless you’re in sales
