Pros

Relatively ok schedule, as per scheduling guidelines it should be 3 ON 3 OFF but this is not followed. Vacation scheme is ok, didn't get denied any vacation days at the time. Payment for night hours and overtime was followed however with some missing payments due to unqualified and education questionable HR personnel.

Cons

Salary below average. Highly-qualified and experienced colleagues were paid the lowest while friends and family members of the management were compensated well above average. Nepotism at its highest. Expect to have a colleague brought into the company by someone in management rather than fair employment through interviewing. Low on personnel ALL THE TIME! On average, it takes them to hire a new team member good year or so. In the meantime, people simply leave ( due to low salary, stress caused by management and understaffed departments). You're being asked to work on your days off to cover the shift almost every month. Hungarian supervisor does not work shifts even though she is paid to do so. She often micromanage the team and questions their every decision without putting and work from her side and not understanding on what is actually happening in day to day operations. You will see her arriving to the office after 9am and leaving shortly after 3pm to pick up her kid from kindergarten. She is unreachable afterwards and you will never get to reach her over the weekend when there is an important issue. Gossip breaks with nepotism colleagues are her main entertainment during working hours. Let's say, breaks are taken VERY often. Weekends and night hours are simply left to operations team to figure out on how to deal with the situations. Expect next day lots and lots of questions on why and how and who decided on so and so.... This management style goes hand in hand between Hungarian and Portuguese 'managers'.
