Pros

I enjoy working at DHL it has allowed my to travel and meet new people. DHL is not shy about sending employees to different parts of the world for meetings and training.

Cons

Long hours during peak season October through early January. With the economic slowdown it seems that there is less and less growth opportunities.

This company values its employees in regards to salary as well as benefits. It is very much a community environment with plenty of activities and get togethers.

Cons

This company did employ some people that were totally useless. These people really hurt the company's bottom line, which is why only a small portion of the company is still in the US.

Pros

DHL Express takes an extremely long time to hire individuals. Therefore, they truly make an informed decision.. DHL Express spends a lot of time training their new hires and current staff. Therefore, the employees are never facing a scenario unprepared and always have information on who to contact if assistance is needed. Salary and insurance are generous. Benefits on college tuition reimbursement, life insurance, and vacation time is unheard of in a typical US employer. I found my calling and love my job!

Cons

Telecommuting is not an option at this time.
