I had so many opportunities during my time at DHL and loved it. I would have been a lifer if they had not shut our facility down. There are hard days and long hours but you are very well compensated. Excellent benefits: healthcare, 401K + matching, sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement. Great training ongoing and otherwise, lots of opportunities for advancement if you are willing to relocate, above average severance

Cons

Many changes in leadership, our entire business model changed displacing tens of thousands and just like any big corporation, sometimes the wrong people are hired and promoted. Can be very stressful from KPIs to client expectation

Thorough involvement in everyday's activities, rotational program within the existing set up. A lot of work is semi-blue collar and requires hands on expertise in order to know what you are managing.

Cons

Repetitive and requires practice to master. Strong Hierarchical structure and long promotion times. Program structure seemed to be an afterthought at times. It requires a greater involvement on a managerial level.
