Pros

- Peak pay rate - They allow you to work in the truck dock setting while waiting for S.I.D.A badge hologram approval. - Recruiting is quick and easy.

Cons

- Fast and unclear training. - Demanding supervisors that do not fully understand operations - Supervisors play favorites when met with employee conflict resolution thus resulting in supervisor & employee retaliation. - Lack of communication. (DHL - Erlanger, KY does not communicate with employees on training follow ups, flight delays, scheduling issues, payroll issues or harassment issues). - Climate control is horrible at the Erlanger, KY location. They do NOT heat the employee work area in the winter. If it’s 10°F outside, it’s 10°F or cooler inside. The only heated zones are offices and upper parts of the building. - Pay grade. Competitive, sure. Upon my start upon September of 2017, I was offered $12.55 to do Reload Job duties. When “peak season” arrived they gave everyone in the building a wage increase of $2.00. This was due to the heavy volume. At the end of peak season in January of 18 it was decided that they would take away the $2.00 raise but keep the high volume. This is a huge CON. In addition to the high volumes, the poor heating made it pointless to work. All of this is why My girlfriend and I left DHL - Erlanger, KY within 5 months of hire. I left for a lower paying job that would treat me like a human while still remaining in aviation.

Thanks for the feedback. As you know, hiring new team members to work at the airport can be an administrative challenge so we try to make our recruiting and onboarding processes as efficient as possible. I appreciate you noticing those positives, we'll keep up the focus in that area! We strive to be an employer of choice through competitive pay and benefits as well as advancement opportunities and an energized, dynamic work environment. Our pay structures are regularly reviewed to keep up with the local market. New hires with good performance are also eligible for step pay increases every 6 months and there are well established career progression options to further their careers. One of the areas we are working to improve is the onboarding and training of new hires. There is a project running now to revaluate our training program and make enhancements. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and for your contributions while you were with us. Best of luck in your new role! Colin Beynon VP / GM CVG Hub

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. I appreciate the positive feedback on the available hours and compensation. We continually review our pay structures to ensure they remain competitive for our people in the quickly changing marketplace. I am disappointed to read that your overall employment is not meeting your expectations right now. As you know, our culture is all about Results but equally important to that is Respect. We do not condone or tolerate threatening or disrespectful treatment of any team member. We value transparency and encourage employee feedback as evidenced by our yearly Employee Opinion Survey (and follow-up workshops), daily Performance Dialogues and regular less formal pulse check surveys. Employees can also always go to their HR Representatives or call the employee hotline to if they prefer to provide anonymous feedback. We want our employees to know that their feedback is not only heard, but discussed and acted upon, though. For instance, we are working on providing our Supervisors the right training to further develop their people skills. Last year we launched a new development curriculum designed specifically for our front line Supervisors through our Certified International Manager program called CIM Supervisory. This new 18 month course is aimed at providing all the tools and support our Supervisors need to be prepared to lead their teams in the 21st century by focusing on Respect and Results through a combination of classroom and on the job activities. The initial graduates of that program are just reaching the operation now and we are working quickly to get all Supervisors enrolled. I'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly about your specific situation if you are willing; just send me an email and I am happy to arrange a call. Thank you again for your feedback.
