      Pros

      pay and benefits, travel, co-workers. The cadre of former Airborne employees managed to keep the company afloat. It should be remembered that prior to the merger, DHL was losing money, Airborne was making money.

      Cons

      Indecision by upper management, inability to develop a successful business plan and stick to it, much money wasted on half-baked initiatives and programs, poor labor climate, poor communications, management by intimidation and fear ("if you can't make your ( you name it), just leave your keys on the desk!"), propensity to hire ANYONE from UPS, regardless of their ability.

      Pros

      There are none! A highly dis-organized company. I should have known better from the beginning.

      Cons

      Everyone is allowed to do what ever they want to. Management very seldom uses corrective action. THe drivers are not payed based on performace, they get raises based on time in position. As a former employee of the competition, my raises were based on how well i did my job. If i wanted a nice raise, i had to work for it. The fleet of vehicles are poorly maintained. Every day we have breakdowns.

      Pros

      To explore and expand career. DHL re-structured over all IT delivery and i thought that it may offer lot many opportunities to grow.

      Cons

      Highly mismanaged company with no clear direction. Organization within organizations were created, each trying to pull down and has resulted in it's own downfall. Policies and procedures always ran on exceptions. No one would take ownership of the issues and instead blame game will play major role
